How Does Huawei Update Distribution Work?
Once an update is released, it reaches only one percent of active devices within the first 24 to 48 hours. This is called the Beta update of the Emui Interface. This is to allow Huawei to monitor and control device errors at startup. Scheduled updates are done within one to two weeks. And it can take up to 8 weeks to reach across all the Huawei devices. So even if it is announced that the update will be deployed/started to deploy, you may not see it on your device yet, which is completely normal!
